5. Purposes and legal basis for processing
Under the PDPL, we process personal data only where we have a valid legal basis:

6. Cookies and tracking technologies
Our Website uses cookies and similar technologies to run the site and, with your consent, to measure performance and remember your preferences. You control these through the consent tool and can change your choice via the link in the footer. Full detail is in our Cookie Policy.
7. The AI concierge and the scorecard
The AI concierge sends your messages to Anthropic’s Claude API so it can answer, and we store the recent part of that conversation alongside your enquiry so our team has context. The AI Readiness Scorecard scores your answers by a fixed rubric on our servers, with the written interpretation generated by Claude from your answers and score. We keep both so we can continue the conversation where the report left off.
8. Disclosure of personal data
- Service providers performing services on our behalf (IT hosting, analytics, email delivery), under confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Professional advisors (lawyers, auditors, insurers) where necessary.
- Government or regulatory authorities, where required by UAE law.
- Business transferees, in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Affiliates and group companies, where applicable, for internal administrative purposes.
We do not sell your personal data. The processors we use to operate this site are Cloudflare (hosting, security and cookieless analytics), Anthropic (the AI concierge and scorecard report), Resend (notification and acknowledgement emails), and — where you accept analytics — Google Analytics.
9. International transfers
If we transfer personal data outside the UAE, we ensure such transfers comply with the PDPL, which permits cross-border transfers where:
- the receiving country has an adequate level of protection as determined by the UAE Data Office; or
- appropriate safeguards are in place (such as standard contractual clauses); or
- you have given explicit consent for the specific transfer; or
- the transfer is necessary to perform a contract or for legal claims.
10. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Enquiry records are kept for up to two years so we can maintain continuity if you return to us, then securely deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.
11. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls and regular security assessments — to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify the UAE Data Office and affected individuals in accordance with the PDPL.
12. Your rights under the PDPL
Subject to applicable exceptions, you have the right to:
- be informed about how your personal data is processed;
- access your personal data;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data rectified;
- have your data erased (“right to be forgotten”), subject to legal exceptions;
- restrict processing in certain circumstances;
- data portability, in a structured, commonly used format;
- object to processing, including for direct marketing;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 2. We will respond to verified requests within the timeframe required by the PDPL, and may ask for information to verify your identity first.
13. Children’s privacy
Our Website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18 without appropriate parental or guardian consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
